He was predeceased by: his parent Lige Carlile; his wife Nancy Barlow Carlile; his daughter Peggy Jean Carlile; and his siblings, Viola Napier, Veachel Maynard and Dibrell Carlile.
He is survived by: his parent Hattie Lynn Carlile; his son Jack Carlile of Villa Rica; his children-in-law, Brandy Carlile of Villa Rica, Pat Malone, Don Malone of Paragould, Wanda Brackett and Sterling Brackett of Palm Desert; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Maynard of Nashville and Thomas Napier of Mount Airy. He is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
