It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Henry Vandiver Jr. of Waco, Georgia, who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. As John Henry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John Henry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John Henry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Pearl Wilkie Vandiver. He is survived by: his father John Henry Vandiver, Sr. of Villa Rica; his wife Tracie Dupree Vandiver of Waco; his children, Brittany, Josh Evans of Dallas, Derrick and Cambria of Carrollton; his sister Becky Jennings of Buchannan; and his grandchildren, McKinsey Summerville, Myleigh Summerville, Ella Evans and Tallulah Vandiver.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
