He is survived by: his mother Annie Mae Cody Mason; his wife Ruth Polanco; his children, Edwina Roberson (Eumicus), Edward Cody Jr. and Stephanie Cody-Ponder (Zane); his siblings, Betty Perez (Robert) of Louisville, Catherine Braswell (Varick) of Wrightsville, Linda Harmon (John) of Statesboro, Edna Cody of Hephzibah, Georgia, Jacqueline Hicks (Tim), Linda Ann Johnson of Wadley, Georgia, Willie James Gibbons of Wrightsville, Georgia, Kelvin Cody (Regina) of Millen and Charles Williams of Boston; and his grandchildren, Marchello Graddy Jr., McKenzie Cody, Mikayli Roberson, Margret Cody, Morgan Roberson and Monica Cody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
