She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Harold Moxley and Dorothy Eloise King Moxley; her husband Bobby Wayne "Sonny" Gaston; and her brothers, Frank Moxley and George Peck Moxley.

She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Wayne Gaston, Jr. (Robin) of Evans and George Harold Gaston (Debbie) of Wrightsville; her grandchildren, Al Gaston (Barbara), Josh Gaston, Sam Gaston and Elizabeth Wallstedt (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Skylar Davis, Emmi Gaston, James Gaston, Ethan Gaston, Keely Gaston, River Gaston and Walker Wayne Wallstedt.
