He is survived by: his wife Frances Worthen Mitchell of Louisville, Georgia; his daughter Erica Quarterman (Johnathan) of Louisville, Georgia; his sisters, Lizzie Mae Bostic of Ormond Beach, Mattie M. Smith (John T.) of Blythe and Ammie Alston (Jessie) of Statesboro, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Earnestine Mathews of Louisville, KY, Betty Percell of Bronx, NY, Rosena Worthens of Cleveland, OH, David Warthen of Augusta, GA and Johnathan Warthen of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by loving relatives, church family, Masonic brothers, and many dear friends.
