With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annette Schimmelman of Waleska, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her brother William Bowen. She is survived by : her husband Albert J. Schimmelman; her children, Michael Schimmelman (Nannette Friend), Claire Sebring (Ron Sebring) and Greggory Schimmelman (Rachel Miller); her grandchildren, Brittnee Sebring, Cameron Sebring (Lindsey Noll Sebring), Keegan Schimmelman (Taylor Schimmelman), Madison Schimmelman and Emma Schimmelman (Huntington Sessler); her great grandchild Rylee Eric Renfro; and her siblings, Mike Bowen, John Bowen, Patricia Weeg, Kathy Boehlke and Suanne Hoffman. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to "Flowers for a Purpose" via The Kathy B Davis Foundation.

“I'll always remember when we were in school I called her "Red' because of her hair color & then one day I asked her if that was OK & she answered me back "Of course but can I call you "Rude"& can you help pass the Spanish class?We both laughed so hard,I'll never forget that,oh yeah she did pass the Spanish class I made sure of that.HA!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I was very sorry to hear of Annette's passing. Annette and I were friends through out our school years and then at class reunions. We went to school together from grade one and were always friends. I remember one time she was having a party when we were in about the 6th grade at her house. I got the date wrong and showed up a week early. I was quite embarrassed, but true to Annette and her family they envited me in and we had a good laugh about it. She was a great friend, Skip Kellogg”
