She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hamilton and Dovie Hamilton; her husband Toby Young; her daughter Lisa Young; and her siblings, Berry, Joe, Mary, Leah and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Brooks, Bobby Eugene Young (Janet), Tammy Atkinson (Mike) and Pam Tompkins (Mick); and her close friend Sue Padgett Young. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
