Robert Melvin Hammers Obituary

We bid farewell to Robert Melvin Hammers of Waleska, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tracy Leigh Hammers; and his parents, Mel Hammers and Jinx Hammers. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Hammers; his children, Donna Schneider (Stephan), Melanie Klein (Greg) and Robert Melvin Hammers, Jr. (Lauren); his grandchildren, Bryce Schneider (Ashlyn), Cameron Schneider (Sabrina), Ashton Sorvari (Erik), Drew Schneider (Devree), Abbie Klein, Carson Klein, Madeline Hammers, Gracie Klein and Mia Hammers; his great grandchild Amelia Schneider; and his sister Trish Small (Harold). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
