She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman W. Dennard and Mattie Dennard; her husband Billy D. Newberry; her sisters, Myra Lerch and Hilda Browning; and her son-in-law Jack Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Davis, Tammi Sorrells (Mark) and Rob Watkins; her grandson Adam Teal (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Brody, Brock, Charlee, Huck, Caroline, Hudson, Harper, Henry and Layleigh; and her sister Lynda Hansen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
