He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cook Self of Warm Springs, GA; his children, Edwin "Winn" Self, III (Janice) of Warm Springs, GA, Gayle Redden (Mike) of Manchester, GA, Debra Kominsky of Geneva, GA and Dennis Bassett (Jennifer) of Geneva, GA; and his grandchildren, Edwin "Ed" Marion Self, IV (Alyssa) of Eatonton, GA, Libby NeSmith (Matt) of Statesboro, GA, Emily Probst (Kenneth) of Alexander City, AL, Michael Redden of Cordele, GA, Morgan Redden of Manchester, GA, Joy Redden of Manchester, GA, Jill Wood of Tallahassee, FL, Victoria Buckner (Josh) of Junction City, GA, Jessica Keller (Will) of Shiloh, GA and Michael Robinson (Haley) of Box Springs, GA. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
