He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Shepard and Linnie Thompson Shepard; and his siblings, Elma Harbin, Thomas Shepard, James Shepard, Ruby Brown, Aubrey Shepard and Frank Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Shepard of Warner Robins, Georgia; his children, Allen B. Shepard (Dawn) of Windsor and Regina Signer (Tim) of Perry, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kristen Topping (Brad), Brendan Shepard (Aubrey) and Nick Shepard; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Brayia, Brayleigh, Lana, Waylon of Eddie, CJ, Carigan and Rainey; and his sisters-in-law, Laverne Shepard and Jeanette Shepard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
