She was predeceased by : her husband Jimmy Hugh Cheek, Sr.; and her parents, Wheeler Franklin Jernigan and Maddie Farr. She is survived by : her children, Jimmy Hugh Cheek, Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia and Lydia Prichard of Cochran, Georgia; her grandson William Roger Prichard, Jr. of Conyers, Georgia; and her sister Florence Catherine McCarthy of Leeds, Alabama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
