She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Blount and Mary Donegan Blount; her son Derrell Kerney; and her siblings, Willie Blount, Jr., George Blount, Ruth Shannon, David Blount, Robert Blount and Emma Terry Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Phylliss Grane (Andrew) of Warner Robins, Ronald of Atlanta, Jeanne Kerney of Atlanta and Robert Kerney of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Craig Kerney (Anita) of Valdosta, Ben Abrams of Atlanta, Candace Lane of Atlanta and Jennifer Abrams of Atlanta; her great grandchildren, Selina of Valdosta and Carlita Kerney of Valdosta; her sisters, Evelyn Phillips of Baton Rouge, LA and Elizabeth Malone (Paul) of Indianapolis, IN; and her brother-in-law James Foster of St. Louis, MO.
