He was predeceased by: his parents, Horance Lanier and Mary Estelle Lanier Davis (Hilyer); his wife Diane Marie Lanier (Fanguy); and his siblings, Marvin Lanier, Jimmy Lanier, Linda Lanier Allen, Tommy Lanier, Donnie Lanier, Steve Lanier and Bobby Jean Lanier.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Kubia (John) and Chuck Lanier (Deanna); his grandchildren, Mark Kubia (Chalee), TJ Kubia (Malia) and Nate Kubia; his great grandchild JC Kubia; and his brother Ronnie Lanier (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1322 Feagin Mill Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
