It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Courtney Hodges Mason (Warner Robins, Georgia), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Courtney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Courtney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dovert Mason and Edna Hodges Mason; his brothers, Thomas Dovert Mason, Jr. of Perry and Edward Mason of Perry; and his son-in-law Dr. Bill Vandergrift of Elko.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita May Satterfield Mason; his son Dr. Stephen D. Mason; and his stepdaughters, Linda Satterfield Corbett (Jim) of Atlanta and Janice Satterfield Vandergrift of Elko.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCullough Funeral Home (417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (720 Main St, Perry, GA 31069).
