He was predeceased by: his former wife Rene Baron Hicks; his siblings, Edward, Marguerite and Dorotha; and his parents, Myrtle Helen Crawford Hicks and Elmer Haden Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Wells Davis Hicks; his pets, Ande and Demelza; his sons, Steve Hicke (Donna), Rob Hicks (Margie) and Doug Hicks (Julie); his grandchildren, Adam (Amy), Corey (Drew), Jayme (Geoff), Jason (Lily), Kristina (Chad) and Bradlee (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Joseph, James, Mathew, Natalie, Scout, Tommy, Sarah Jane, Daniel, Meredith, Bodie, Ansel and Orson. He is also survived by three sons, six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Crawford's honor to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
