She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Lester, Sr. and Mary West Lester; her daughters, Denabra King (Ronald) and Jessica Green; her grandchildren, Nakera, Rashonte, Emmary and Devonte; her great grandchildren, Noah, Keegan and Alyssa; her siblings, Beverly Lester Sutton, Josephine Lester, Evelyn Lane (Vernon) and Tracy Lester; her friend Teresa Brooks; her brother Joseph Lester, Jr. (Joe); her great-nephew Domonique McGhee; her brother Jason Lester; and her brother-in-law Rubbie James. She was also cherished by five nieces, three nephews, and a host of great nieces, great nephews.
