He is survived by: his wife Kathryn McCrea; his children, Shelton Finch of Durham, Techelle McCrae of Lynchburg, Virginia and Cedric Logan (Aeriel) of Warner Robins; and his siblings, Florence Bass (Melvin) of Graham, Jean Boyd (Charlie) of Durham and A. B. Cunningham (Sandra) of Durham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
