It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie D. Gilbert (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Corine Fleming and Eugene Gilbert, Sr.. He is survived by: his brothers, Eugene Gilbert, Jr. and Terry Gilbert; his children, Maquetta Gilbert, Lanikia Gilbert, Justin Allen Aaliyah Allen, Denesia Robinson, Tyc'lyn Gilbert, Terawen McCray and Antwan McCray; his godmother Earnestine Felton; and his sisters, Debra Jackson (Eddie), Mary Lloyd (Jeffrey) and Regina Gilbert. He is also survived by extended family members and countless friends.
