He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bryan and Bertha Yawn Davis; his wife Minnie Ethyl Davis; his daughter Shellia Kipa; his granddaughter Adona Brooks; and his great grandchild Madison Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Hummel (Rick) and Sandra Maxwell (Luke); his son-in-law Frank Kipa; his grandchildren, Mandy Wright (Jason) of Fort Valley, Will Maxwell of Houston, Chrissy and Charlie Maxwell of Marietta; and his brother Forrest Davis of Macon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
