He is survived by: his wife Nellie Ruth Higgins; his children, Ramona Higgins, Felica Billings (Jeffrey), Stephanie Wilkins, Sierra Johnson and Tony Laney; his siblings, Myra Higgins, Willie Lewis Higgins (Dorothy), Sanders Higgins (Sheila), Alford Hudson (Priscilla) and Benny Higgins (Rose); his siblings-in-law, Minnie Pearl Laney (James), Joe Lee Hardnett (Fannie), Charles Hardnett (Bonnie), Douglas Hardnett (Cathy) and Randy Hardnett (Brenda); and his close friend Charlie Billings. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
