She was predeceased by: her father John Durwood Carroll; her husband Thomas Malcolm Helms; and her brothers, Robert Jackson Carroll and Orren Linward Carroll. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Starley (Thomas) of Warner Robins, Karen Carr (James) of Warner Robins and Cindy Williams (Steve) of Byron; her grandchildren, Bridget Avery, Brian Starley (Carrol), Aaron Carr and Miranda McLendon (Brandon); her siblings, Jannette Gurr, Sara Lee Calhoun (Robert), Jimmy Carroll, David Carroll (Freddie) and Albert Carroll; and her siblings-in-law, Bobby Helms, Nell Carroll, Anne Carroll and Doris Renfroe. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
