He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Jackson and Cato McDaniels; his stepfather Lawrence Jackson; his daughters, Delois McDaniels and Stephanie McDaniels; his grandson Ketric McDaniels; his siblings, Ralph Jackson, William McDaniels, Johnny Jackson, Pearlene Cowarts, Marie Curry, Ossie Moore, Lillie Wynds and Evelyn Lee; and his nephew Melvin Wynds.
He is survived by: his son Torrey Freeman (Audrey) of Macon, Georgia; his grandchildren, Shonta McDaniels, Amuri Marie McDaniels, Schenica Pearson, Torry D. Freeman, Jr., Shandrika Freeman, Tyran Freeman, LaQuita Moss, Zacchaeus Brown, Karrem Warren, Ki'Torrie Freeman, Jamarus Freeman and Ja'Maya Freeman; his sisters, Linda Lett (Herman) of Colquitt and Bettye Williams of Blakely, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Milton Wynds, David Williams of Columbia and William Lee of Acworth, Georgia.; and his friends, Bobby Cumvy, O. T. Jordan and Perrell Williams. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church (1416 N Church St, Blakely, GA 39823). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
