He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Annette Bruner of Michigan; his sons, Kent Jackson Bruner (Chris) of Bonaire and Joseph Scott Bruner (Lindsay) of Newport News, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brittney Bunker, Dianna Jo Holley, Phillip Joseph Bruner, Jennifer Bruner, Kymber Bruner, Brooke Bruner, Allen Bruner and Zyre Bruner; and his siblings, George H, Debbie Gibson of Virginia and Richard Bruner of West Virginia. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of SFC Harry Phillip Bruner, Sr., US Army (Ret.) to First Christian Church of Perry, 2100 US-41, Perry, Georgia 31069.
