He was predeceased by: his wife Dinh Ngoc Lang; and his mother Hanh Tran. He is survived by: his child Tran Thi Diem Huong (Hai Vu); his grandchildren, Dang Vu, Nguyen Tran, Nhi Tran and Ngoc Tran; his great grandchild Ngan Tran; and his father-in-law Iuoc Nguyen.
