He is survived by: his children, Dermon Thomas (Verna), Jammy Lowder (TJ) and Dr. Janita VaShun Lowder; his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Jaylen Lowder and Prime Haastrup; his sisters, Linda Craig and Bernice Maddox (Greg); and his uncle Lewis Lowder (Emma). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
