She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sharon Perkins Thompson of Louisville, KY and Leonard Hefner; her brother Phillip Neil Hefner; her husband Steven Sneed of Macon; her children, Kyle Sneed of Macon and Kelli Nicole Sneed of Michigan; and her niece Hayley Hefner Bernard of Warner Robins. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as beloved friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made in Leda Sneed's memory to Noah's Ark Sanctuary, 712 L G Griffin Road, Locust Grove, GA 30248.
