She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Nathan and Ocile Sheffield Tabb; her husband Gary Eugene Smith; her brother Patrick Kent Tabb; her stepdaughter Stacy Reyes; and her caregiver Linda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Hathaway (Skeeter) of Cochran and Rhonda Crowe of Warner Robins; her stepson Terry Hendricks (Michelle) of Perry; her sister Barbara Smith of Perry; and her grandchildren, Dana Wilson, Erin Lucas, Thurman Hathaway, IV, Jacob Hendricks and Jonathan Hendricks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014).
