She was predeceased by : her parents, John Wesley Martin and Rosetta Hughes Martin. She is survived by : her husband Frank Smith Sims Jr. (S. Navy); her son Steve Sims (Sheryl); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Crown (Andrew), Emily Sims, Katherine Sims and Kelly Whitfield (Billy); and her great grandchildren, Luke Lumpkin, Will Whitfield and Elle Whitfield.
