She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jack Mason and Maggie; her husband Jack G. Byrd; and her brothers, Willie Frank Mason and Eugene Lamar Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Gunter Woodall (Chip), Rome, Michelle Lee Lubinski (Mike), Savannah, James Randall Gunter and Centerville; her grandchildren, Jamee Tru Staud (Kory), Jacob Whatley Woodall, Mandi Kay Tate (Randy), Madison Marie Gunter and Alyssa Nicole Gunter; her great grandchild Maverick Joseph Staud; her sister Jackie Mason Beard; her nieces, Teresa Mason Gore, Karen Mason Smith and Sharon Clayton; and her nephew Kevin Mason. She is also survived by dog and companion, "Hailey" as well as many extended family members and countless friends.
