She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fitzgerald and Thelma Fitzgerald; her brother Billy Fitzgerald; and her granddaughter Tara Youngblood. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Jones (Alma) of Mt Airy, Wanda Spires (Pete) and Georgia; her grandsons, Jonathon Jones (Emily), Timmy Youngblood (Candace), Paul Jones (Lindsey) and Stephen Jones (Allison); her siblings, Charles Fitzgerald, Ann Wade, Elsie Clements (Ronnie), Ronnie Fitzgerald (Wanda Gail), Donnie Fitzgerald (Cheryl), Sandra Driver (Stan) and Brenda Spires (Larry); her close friend Cathy Newman; her husband George Jones; David Jeremiah.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Margie Johnson to Pine Pointe Hospice at 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
