It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlys McMeans of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Young and Nellie Riley Young; her brother Jennings "Chic" Young; and her daughter Molly McMeans Griffith. She is survived by: her husband Jack McMeans; and her children, Michael McMeans of Phoenix and Patricia "Puddy" McMeans Blundon (Bob) of Arlington. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Northside High School Drama Department, 926 Green St, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
