It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathis Chatfield (Warner Robins, Georgia), who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Donna Chatfield; his children, Jantril Hinton, Kenneth Hampton and Christina Hampton; his siblings, Diann Smith (Jimmy), Rosalyn Simmons and Johnny Chatfield (Lisa); his mother-in-law Willie Maude Lumpkin; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Smith (Celia), Leonard Smith (Sandra), Johnnie Smith, Maureen Holliday (Albert), Christine Oliver (Erwin) and Annie Ruth Smith. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard R. Robinson Chapel (4000 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (210 Garmon St, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Magnolia Memorial Park South Cemetery (605 SR 96, Bonaire, GA 31088).
