He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stewart Tipton and Ida Smith Tipton; his wife Barbara Gales Tipton; his daughters, Lisa Klug (Michael) and Christina Sikes (Joseph); his grandchildren, Andrew Michael Klug (Katlyn), Megan Christina Benson (Matthew), Adam Michael Sikes (Daniel Kelley) and Brian Michael Sikes; and his great grandchild Mason Michael Klug.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Perry Methodist Church (1002 Carroll St, Perry, GA 31069). A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Magnolia Park Cemetery (205 S Pleasant Hill Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088).
