He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Vernon Cline Hayes; his siblings, Raymond Hayes, Grady Hayes, Sybil Ridley and Vivian Headrick; and his former wife Betty Jean Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hayes; his children, Melony Parker (Andrew) and Tommy Hayes (Kristal); his grandchildren, Meredith Snyder (Nick), Graham Parker (Victoria), Shelby Hayes and John Thomas Hayes; and his great grandchild Molly Jean Snyder.
