He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Lehane; his brother Charles E. Lehane; the mother of his children Janice W. Lehane; his son Edward Lehane; and his son-in-law Kerry Blackmon.

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Blackmon, Stephen Lehane, Deborah McGillen (Neil), James Lehane (Rose), Carolyn Lawrence and Daniel Lehane. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
