He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Elizabeth Darlene Bridgeman Brown; his father Ollis L. Brown; his brothers, Kenneth D. Brown and Terry W. Brown; his wife Mary Brown; his children, Crystal R. Brown, Thomas C. Brown Jr. (Anea) and Letricia D. Brown Brandenburg (Maverick); his adoptive daughter Joy Lewis Turnley (Titus); his stepdaughters, Yolanda Harris (Kevin) and Roberta Gerald; his mother Willie Esther Brown; and his siblings, Joyce Jackson (Willie B.), James Brown, Wallace Brown (Shandra), Mary Brown McKinney (Randolph) and Jerry Dwight Brown (Teresa). He was also cherished by many loving grandchildren, three aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
