He was predeceased by: his wife Martraud "Trudy" F. Blochwitz Tarpley; his parents, Joyce Burdick and Robert Burdick; and his brother Robert Lewis Burdick. He is survived by: his children, Christina Cobb, Frances Cook (Ken), Thomas Kell Tarpley, Jr. (Trina), Herbert Tarpley and Joyce Quinn. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of extended friends and family.
