She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Ammons and Lessie McGown Ammons; her husband Tobbie L. Jones; her siblings, Ezra Ammons, Jr., Willard H. Ammons, Shirley Conover and Thelma Hopek; and her granddaughter Alia Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Meharg (Dale) of Macon, Georgia, Michael Jones (Cheri) of Townsend and Thomas Jones (Sherry) of Pike Road, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Chad Frazier (Sarah) of Senoia, Georgia, Virginia Mince (Michael) of Dupont, Corey Meharg (Hannah) of Macon, Blake Jones (Kaylee) of Montgomery and Morgan Blake (Logan) of Huntsville, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCullough Funeral Home (417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Virginia Jones to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Oakland Baptist Church at 1509 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088, or Emory Hospital Warner Robins (Volunteers) at 1601 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
