He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ranew and Ida Ranew; and his wife Sarah. He is survived by: his nephews, Arthur "Buddy" Hendry (Karen), Robert Lee (Edna), Scott Lee (Nancy) and Michael Kelly (Bonnie).
