He was predeceased by: his mother Pearline Barnes; his wife Peggy Sue Deaton Welch; and his son Michael Welch. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Welch (Theresa) and Wayne Welch (Sharon); his grandchildren, Jennifer Welch (Ben), Steven Welch (Stephanie) and Josh Welch (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Kierstin, Loralei, Christina, Sierra, Kylar and Ashton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
