She was predeceased by: her mother O. E. "Pete" Purvis; and her son Bradley Clifton "Brad" Hobbs. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Hobbs Thigpen (Jonathan) of Wrens, GA; her grandsons, Reagan Thigpen (Laura) and Tyler Thigpen; and her siblings, Carolyn Smith of Mesena, GA, Ronnie Purvis of Wrens, GA and Joey Purvis (Cindy) of Thomson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home (77 W Gibson St, Warrenton, GA 30828). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund C/O Ms. Kay Langham P.O. Box 217 Thomson, GA 30824.
