He was predeceased by: his son Tavarus A. Bolton; his grandson Carta Jr.; and his siblings, Harry Nealey, Larry Nealey, Willie Berry (Nambo), Joint Burley, Johnny B. Berry, Thurman Nealey, Essie Johnson, Minnie Robinson and Lura Mae Gillom.
He is survived by: his wife Vonita "Cookie" Nealey; his daughters, Donnetta Reid (Bernard) and Sasha Nealey; his grandchildren, Ambrianna, Cheyenne, LaGaryius, Edward, Chandler, Khamani, Amari, Koko, Kingston, Sailor and Ca'Nylah; and his great grandchildren, Princeton, Ashton, Grayson, Nassir, Khyzer, Viollett and Mellani.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dawson''s Mortuary Chapel (98 Hopgood St, Warrenton, GA 30828). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity AME Methodist Church (177 N Norwood St, Warrenton, GA 30828).
