She was predeceased by : her parents, William Frank Johnson and Estelle Cranford Johnson; her sons, Ken Chalker and Gee Thomas Chalker, III; and her siblings, Minnie Bell Wright and Alton Johnson.

She is survived by : her husband Gee Thomas Chalker, Jr.; and her daughters-in-law, Agnes Chalker and Sara Chalker. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
