He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Henry Callaway and Alice Faye Edwards Callaway; his wife Vickie Lynn Callaway; his brother Ronnie Callaway; and his grandson Parker Carnes.
He is survived by: his son Jamie Allen Callaway (Kristie) of Washington; his stepchildren, John Franklin of Washington and Connie Kirk (Joe) of Murrells Inlet; his brother Wayne Callaway (Sally) of Washington; his nephews, Will Callaway and Jesse Callaway; and his grandchildren, Nikki Peters, Blaze Callaway, Kayli Beth Callaway, Brandon Kirk and Audrey Kirk. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopkins Funeral Home (416 E Robert Toombs Ave, Washington, GA 30673). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel (416 E Robert Toombs Ave, Washington, GA 30673).
