With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Amis Jackson in Washington, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dean and Margaret Bell Amis; her husband Norman Jackson Jr. of Washington; her son Robert Ragsdale Jackson; and her brother William Dean Amis Jr. of Washington.

She is survived by : her daughter Margaret Henderson (Bernie); her grandchildren, William Z. Henderson, Margaret E. Henderson and Emily H. Tumlin (Sam); her great grandchild William Z. Henderson Jr.; her sister-in-law Guerry L. Amis; her nephew Lyndon Amis (Leigh Ann); and her niece Elizabeth A. Lindsey (Ronny).
