He was predeceased by : his father Truman Street; and his siblings, Marion, Calvin, Robert, Sarah, Margie, Hazel Joyce, Dorothy, Barbara and Martha.

He is survived by : his wife Savannah "Dixie" Street; his sons, Timothy Street (Rhonda) of Thomson, GA and Paul Allen Street (Patti) of Leesville, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher, Courtnie, Brooklyn and Victoria; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Sebastian.

“Dearest Dixie, We are so very sorry to hear of Gene's passing. We know this is a very difficult time for you. Please know that we love you very much, as we loved him too! We look forward to the day when he is resurrected back to a healthy life here on earth where we will all enjoy all of eternity together.
