He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Graves and Ethel Graves; and his sister Jackie Graves. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Owenby of Waynesville, Jamie Bryson of Canton, James G. Graves Jr. (Cassie) of Washington, Georgia and Adrienne Graves of Tignall, Georgia.; his stepsons, Steven Rice of Seffner and Levi Rice of Asheville; his siblings, J. C. Graves of Candler and Susan Graves of Asheville; and his former spouses, Wanda Reece and Gayle Barker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
