He was predeceased by: his son John Parker Jones; his parents, Frank Jones Jr. and Mary Ann Jones; and his siblings, Ben Jones and Ayme Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Davis Jones; his son Charles "Charlie" Clayton Jones of Washington, GA.; his granddaughters, Maddisyn and Oakleigh Jones of Harlem, GA.; his sister Patricia Thomas of Blairsville, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Ervin Thomas, Wanda Jones of Blairsville, GA, Eloise Conner (Bill) of Clayton, GA, Judy Kirkland of Washington, GA and Vicki Lee of Athens, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
