He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Putnam Harris, II and Mary Fluker Harris; his wife Dorothy Leinbach Harris (Dot); and his siblings, Ruth Emerson Harris, Jane Harris Wright, Rev. Waldo P. Harris, III, W. Henry Harris, Rev. J. Robert Harris and Thomas M. Harris.
He is survived by: his brother Rev. John S. Harris (Colleen); his children, Jennifer Marwitz (Brad) and George Harris (Peggy); his grandchildren, Shannon Marwitz (Chris Madland), Leah Rowlett (Michael), Jacob Harris (Dakota), Dylan Russell, Shawn Russell and Johnathan Russell (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Elliott Madland, Bella, Liam Harris, Aliyah, Brennan and Emma Russell; and his caregivers, Lashanda McClellan and Revonda McCrayer. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other close relatives.
